Megan Auger

A North Smithfield graduate, Megan started playing hockey at the age of 6. Having played for the Burrillville Broncos in her early years on the boys team as a goalie, and later transitioning to girls hockey, playing defense. Megan joined the North Smithfield Lady Northmen in 2003 as a freshman shortly after it was founded. She attended many camps and clinics over the years and has played hockey all year round for most of her life. Taking a few years off she realized something was missing in life and picked hockey back up in 2019, playing anywhere ice was available. She now plays regularly in an adult co-ed league at Mount Saint Charles. In addition to her passion for hockey she also spends time with her family and 2 dogs. Looking to give back to the hockey community, Coach Crystal, Coach Pep and Coach Meg, are building a women's community where girls and women of all ages can be involved in hockey whether they have been playing for years or have never skated and want to branch out, and are not sure how or where to begin.
